PRECISION SEEDING SOLUTION

MC Elettronica offers a new monitoring system for seed drills, namely, “Universal Seeder Control (USC)” characterised by a simple, modular, flexible and technological structure.

The USC system is a complete solution that incorporates all features related to:

- Blockage Monitor (BM) for monitoring the passage of seeds or of the granular fertiliser;

- Variable rate / Tramline (VRT), that allows for the controlling of distribution according to the feed-rate (DPA). Electronic components of the system provide precise tracking of each operation performed by seeding machine.


The electrification of sowing element is the innovation that is easiest to apply, since it essentially involves replacing the mechanical transmission with electric motors.
The system is set-up to be interfaced with the main GPS devices on the market (e.g. Trimble, Topcon, AVMap, etc.), in order to automatically manage closing of the rows, thus avoiding overlapped sowing and resulting in saving on seeds.

FOR THE OPERATOR:

 

  • Increased sowing precision as a result of eliminating mechanical tolerances;
  • Reduction in maintenance times;
  • Higher level of safety for the operator due to the lower number of moving mechanical parts;
  • Sowing guarantee every field turn beginning and seed waste elimination at the each field turn end.

 

FOR THE MANUFACTURER (OEM):

  • The modularity offered by the system enables you to select the desired components, connect them to the network and configure them with the MC Elettronica system, or other systems on the market;
  • The production speed to assemble the machines meets requirements of end customers, adjusting to different geographical areas;
  • Optional: ECU-BRIDGE module. Adding a module to standard components of the system makes the seed drill compatible with ISO-BUS 11783 by using Universal Terminals on the tractors, adding the RAS (Remote Assistance Service) module to monitor and provide remote assistance regarding the seed drill via “Cloud”, thus anticipating any faults in the range and storing data useful for warranty purposes.
