DORADO EVO PLANTERS MONITOR SYSTEM
Dorado Evo is a planters monitor system for precision planters controlling seeding rows, developed to monitor up to 12 rows using analogue seed sensors. The integration of special 3Wires-BUS seed sensors from MC Elettronica product range allows to increase the number of rows monitored up to a maximum of 48. With the implementation of the new SECTOR PRO function it is possible to exclude individual seeding rows in a completely independent way, enabling the management of complex situations such as field edges, obstacles, tramlines. The Dorado EVO seeding control system makes simplicity an asset: the display is the only component to which all sensors are connected because the control unit is an integral part of the monitor.

- The UC 50 control unit, associated to the monitor, extends the SECTOR PRO function, allowing even more practical management of the exclusion of individual sowing rows.
The Dorado EVO planters monitor system is available in the standard version (seeding control) or in the full SECTOR PRO version (with the additional functionality for row exclusion).
The seeding control system comprises of:
- A 5″ colour touch-screen Virtual Terminal which gives two different displays: a histogram chart mode, which shows double or failed seeding and a tabular mode which shows real time values for average seeding distance/population. Data are calculated for single rows in both modes;
- Up to 12 analogue photocells can be connected directly to the monitor; these detect the passage of seeds and there is an option to increase the number of interconnected photocells up to a maximum of 48 using the 3Wires-BUS solution;
- A number of optional sensors can also be connected, including a vacuum gauge to monitor the negative pressure, a sensor to identify the working position and a sensor to check the RPM;
- SECTOR PRO ECU rows esclusion and UC 50 control unit for managing the single seeding row exclusion functionality;
- A USB port located at the rear of the monitor can be used to update the device or to retrieve data, such as seeding statistics and working parameters.
